Active degassing station of the Torbeevo municipal solid waste landfill with landfill gas power station

Company “Prodex energy” is being implemented by the third investment project on reconstruction of municipal solid waste (MSW) in the village Torbeevo, Lyubertsy district, Moscow region on reconstruction of the landfill with the goal of creating the generating object functioning renewable energy source landfill gas landfill. The amount of generation of electric power is 1.0 MW (in the first stage of construction) and 2.0 MW (second stage of construction).

The basic equipment of the generating facility – turnkey block-modular gas-piston units (GPU) in container design maximum operational readiness of a unit installed capacity of 1,000 kW (1.0 MW) with an output voltage of 6.3 kV.

The electrical energy produced by the installed modular GPU generating object is transferred to electric networks of JSC “MOESK” through sectionwise points with voltage of 6.3 kV. The produced energy is generated with parameters that meet the requirements of the network companies (the JSC “MOESK”) and purchased by the networks of JSC “MOESK” according to the approved tariff.

In the composition of the generating facility is expected to use equipment in block-modular design, maximum prefabrication (modular GPU, modular switchgear with voltage of 6.3 kV and 35 kV, block-module gas-compressor stations, etc.).

The construction of the facility is envisaged to be completed in two stages:

The first phase of construction – the construction of the generating facility with an installed capacity of 1.0 MW;
The second phase of construction – the increase in the installed electric generating capacity of the facility up to 2.0 MW.
The construction of the first stage now complete.

The decision on building of the second turn is taken by the investor on the results of trial operation of the generating facility with an installed capacity of 1.2 MW for 6 months of operation.

For the project investor was contracted for the development of design and working documentation for facility construction. The General designer is LLC “HC GIS energy” (Saint-Petersburg), designer – OOO “Prodeks energy”.

As the Investor has received the relevant letter is that of the generating object based on a complete modular gensets in modular design, maximum prefabrication is not an object of capital construction, the mandatory state expertise of design documentation (in accordance with the town planning Code of the Russian Federation, V. 48 – 49) is not required.

The first phase of the facility “Station of active degassing of the Landfill Torbeevo, with the power plant running on landfill gas” is built on a landfill of municipal solid waste (MSW), located at Moscow region, Lyubertsy district, near the village Torbeevo, possession # 1, and is designed to generate electricity using a mined from the landfill of landfill gas.

The main parts of the construction are:

Gas block-modular power plant (GPP) with installed capacity 2,000 kW (2.0 MW), which is located on the site of the GPP.
The system of collection and treatment of landfill gas, which is located on the landfill site of municipal solid waste.
The composition of the gas piston power plant (gppp) in block-modular design includes:

Two block-modular gas-piston units (GPU) container type (BM HCP) unit installed capacity of 1000 kW with an output voltage of 6.3 kV;
The main compressor station (GCS) block-modular execution;
Switchgear generator voltage 6.3 V modular design (RU-6,3/0,4 kV) switchgear of own needs with voltage of 0.4 kV (distribution unit for internal needs of the 0.4 kV) and the operator room of the power plant;
Installation of cooling landfill gas (UOG) to extract moisture from the landfill gas;
Coal-gas filter (GF) for cleanup of landfill gas from sulfur and other impurities;
Flare unit (FU) for emergency flaring of landfill gas;
Auxiliary equipment (collection tank process liquids, tanks fire extinguishing systems, and technological overpass, in-site engineering networks, etc.) in accordance with the General plan of the site of the power plant.
The system of collection and treatment of landfill gas include:

Wells with a diameter of 600 mm for the extraction of landfill gas from the landfill body (20 wells on the first map and 15 on the second map polygon)
Gas manifold station in modular design (two pieces);
The system of collection and treatment of landfill gas (condensate wells, collection pipelines, etc.).
Accessories, valves, in-site engineering networks, etc.
In all, the facility Investor allocated two stages of construction:

The first phase of construction consisting of:
one modular gas-piston power station containerized unit installed capacity of 1000 kW with an output voltage of 6.3 kV;
two collector station (cs) in block-modular execution;
one main compressor station (GCS) block-modular execution;
one switchgear generator voltage 6.3 kV block-modular design (RU-6,3/0,4 kV) switchgear of own needs with voltage of 0.4 kV (distribution unit for internal needs of the 0.4 kV) with the premises of the operator;
one flare unit;
one cooling unit, the landfill gas block-modular execution;
one gas purifying filter of landfill gas;
auxiliary equipment (collection tank process liquids, tanks fire extinguishing systems, and technological overpass, in-site engineering networks, etc.) of the plant in accordance with the General plan of the site of the power plant.
the system of collection and treatment of landfill gas (condensate wells prefabricated pipelines, etc.) for the two KS of the first stage.
The second phase of construction of the object, comprising:
one modular GPU containerized unit installed capacity of 1000 kW with an output voltage of 6.3 kV;
intra-engineering services for second phase of construction of the facility;
single gas filter for purification of landfill gas.
Construction options modular power plant (GPP) within the parameters of the best foreign analogues.

Environmental parameters in the GPP meet the requirements of Russian normative documents.
